Sky Cleared Due to Lockdown, Mount Everest Visible from the Village of Bihar

New Delhi : Due to the lockdown, air pollution has reduced and air quality has improved, due to which the visibility has increased. There has been such a difference in Bihar that the people of Singhwahini village here are able to see Mount Everest from their home. IFS Praveen Kaswan has also shared a related picture on his Twitter handle.

Sharing the picture, IFS Praveen Kaswan wrote, “When people of Singhwahini village, Bihar saw Everest from their own houses. They say this happened after decades.” At present, the picture of Mount Everest visible from Singhwahini village is increasingly being viral on social media.

This picture was first tweeted by Singhwahini village head Ritu Jaiswal, after which this picture became a topic of discussion on social media and people started sharing it.

Tweeting the picture, she wrote, “We can see Mount Everest from our terrace in Singhwahini, my village in Sitamarhi district today. Nature is balancing itself. The mountains close to Nepal were sometimes seen in clear weather after rain. The first sightings of the original Himalayas we witnessed from our village today.”
