Sinhagad Road Pune : 13 days old baby buried alive by parents in Wadgaon

Pune : In a shocking revelation, a 13 days old baby has been buried by his parents in Wadgaon area off Sinhagad road. The incident came to light on Wednesday morning. Primary investigation has revealed that the baby was handicapped and hence the parents buried him alive at an isolated location behind the Sinhagad Institutes in Wadgaon.

A team of police personnel from the Sinhagad road police station has rushed to the spot to rescue the baby. However, since Tehsildar’s permission is required to dig inside the forest area, police are awaiting for the said permission.

Once the Tehsil officials arrive at the spot, the digging will start and the baby will be rescued from the spot. Police officials are trying to evade questions regarding this incident and are not willing to furnish more details. Meanwhile, the news of this incident has spread like wildfire in the area and large number of citizens have gathered at the location.
