Singer sung Anti-Drugs song caught with drugs

Recently a film in Bollywood had portrait about the drugs addiction in one particular state named ‘Udatta Punjab’. In the film, it is shown that singer who is a public icon and idol for many who also sings anti-drugs songs, but the singer as shown in the film was himself a drug addict.

The same thing has happened in real life as well. A Punjabi singer Harman Siddhu has been arrested by Punjab police in the case of alleged smuggling drugs.  He was arrested by the Punjab Police along with huge quantity of banned drug Heroine. With Harman, his four friends were also arrested.

The Police informed that in this case six people including the supplier. These accused are being charged under the relevant section of the Narcotics Act????

According to police, “the team of CIA staff was present on toll plaza Sirsa’s Bhavdin when a white colored Honda City on high speed came to the toll plaza. When the car stopped on the toll police searched the car and all the five youth in it as they suspect something fictitious. Once the police searched the car they found 52.10 gram of heroin. It was hidden in the glove box near the car’s steering. The price of the arrested heroin is approximately Rs 5 .40 lakh in the international market.

In the further investigation, police found that these guys bought the Heroin from New Delhi and was going sell it in Punjab. The Punjabi singer tried to convince the policeman claiming that they must leave him as his image will get spoiled and someone purposely who want to malign his image had done this mischievous act.

Harman Sidhu is a Punjabi singer. Harman has so far released six albums. Harman wrote the song ‘Chaita’ in 2015. In this song, the evils of intoxication have been told.
