Pune : NpNews24 Online – Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati | The new generation will learn about the historical, religious and freedom struggle and the revolutionaries’ contributions at the Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Bhavan and Museum. CP Gupta inaugurated the Bhavan and Museum established by the first public Ganeshotsav mandal in India. It has been renovated by the Indrani Balan Foundation. He was speaking on the occasion. Famous blogger and chef Jugnu Gupta, Mandal Celebration Committee Chief, Trustee and young entrepreneur Punit Balan, Mandal President Sanjiv Jawale, RMD Foundation President Janhvi Dhariwal-Balan, its Vice-President Shobhatai Dhariwal and the heads of Manache Ganesh Mandals were present.
CP Gupta, along with his wife, performed the aarti of the Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati. Later, the renovated Bhavan and Museum was inaugurated. The Guptas were felicitated on the occasion.
CP Gupta said, “I had visited the Bhavan a year ago. The place has become more beautiful, clean and attractive after its renovation. Tourists visiting nearby historical places such as Shaniwarwada will definitely visit the Bhavan and Museum. The young generation will learn about the freedom struggle and the revolutionaries’ role in it. The Bhavan has a historical, religious and freedom struggle background.” He congratulated Punit and Janhvi Balan and the trustees for the renovation of the Bhavan and Museum.
CP Gupta expressed the confidence that they would continue to do such social work in the future also.
Mandal Celebration Committee Chief and Trustee Punit Balan said, “A movement to free India from the British was launched by Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari, Lokmanya Tilak, and other revolutionaries from this Bhavan. The 140-year-old Bhavan needed renovation. The Indrani Balan Foundation, along with the Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Trust, renovated the Bhavan. I am happy and satisfied about this.”
The Bhavan, from where the revolutionaries operated, has a secret chamber, an underground tunnel, arms from the British era, a metal box belonging to the East India Company and the central locking system. Moreover, visitors can watch audio-visual clips about its historical significance. Entry to the Bhavan and Museum is for free.
