‘Shoot Anyone Coming Near EVM’

NP NEWS 24 ONLINE- After voting in Madhya Pradesh, the issue of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) came into lights again. Meanwhile, a message from Rewa collector Preeti Maithil Nayak is getting viral. In the video, she is telling his security guard that if anyone comes to the EVM, then shoot it.

With the allegations of EVM tempered in Sagar and Bhopal, IAS Preeti Maithil Nayak made a controversial statement while ordering her security personnel to shoot anybody directly, who try to come near EVM.

According to sources, the collector talked to a Congress candidate  Abhay Mishra from Rewa, that she has to do the job for 25 years, and want to be the principal secretary and chief secretary. Why would she take a big risk for an election?

In fact, Congress has raised an objection about the safety of EVMs in the Strong Room, in Rewa. On this, Collector Preeti talked to Congress candidate. Preeti Nayak is saying that the election is not the big thing for me, I can not spoil 25 years of goodwill in such matters. I have to become a Principal Secretary and Chief Secretary in future.

The issue of EVMs is going on since a long time. Oppositions are continuously making allegations on ruling party over this issue. At this time, Congress is repeatedly protesting over the delay in machines’ delivery in a strong room in Madhya Pradesh and disconnection of power. Due to not having electricity for about an hour in Bhopal, the CCTV and LED display of the Strong Room was not working.

While releasing the video of EVM in private hotel and delivering the EVM in the strong room through the school bus which doesn’t have the passing number in Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh, Congress has alleged that  BJP is trying to overturn the people’s opinion.

On the other hand, Naib Tehsildar of Sagar, Rajesh Mehra has been suspended for negligence in the Strong Room. At the same time, Congress leader Jyotiraditya Sindhia has expressed that there are chances of EVM tampering. He has appealed to the workers to keep a close watch, since that the Congress workers are guarded outside the Strong Room in a large number.
