Police become customers of sex worker for catching accused

MUMBAI: NP NEWS 24 ONLINE- In a shocking incident, Police arrested one for showing his private part on video call to a Fashion designer’s daughter who lives in Malabar Hill. The accused farther makes the dresses from the designed  made by victim’s mother. Accused used sex worker’s mobile for committing this crime. Crime Branch arrested accused named Fayyaz Ahmad within 10 hours of registering complaint.

‘I received a video call at midnight, but I wasn’t able to see the face of the person who was on call. Then I realized that, the caller was doing obscene act and immediately I cut the call. But after few minutes, he called again from the same number and my mother also seen that call, said by that girl in complaint.

After that, the fashion designer lodged a complaint at the Malabar Hill police station along with the girl.

By considering the seriousness of the matter, Police stared investigation as soon as they got the information about the incident. Police found that the location of the mobile number used for making obscene video call is Borivali and the number was registered on a Nepal’s citizen name.

According to this Nepal’s citizen said that this phone was at his wife and she lives at Grant road. The phone was a phone call to the victim when she had a video call. Nepali citizen said that his wife lives in Grander Road.

Then Nepali citizen called his wife from another phone number, but she did not pick up the phone. In the investigation, Police understood that it is a sex worker.

Then, the police became the customer and contacted the woman. When the police asked the woman about that video call, she said one customer (Fayyaz Ahamd) made this call from her mobile. The customer took the phone from her by telling that he wants to call wife. But she told the police that she immediately snatched away the phone from his obscene act.

When the woman called the customer, his number was switched off. After that, police laid a trap with the help of a sex worker and called the accused at Worli Sea face. Police took her from a private car to Worli Sea face.

According to the police, she called accused to meet in the car. The police caught him after the accused came in the car. He confessed his crime in the inquiry. The accused’s father, fashion designer, was working for dressing a woman. Sometimes victim girl used to go there for getting the dresses. At that time the accused had seen.
