Shocking! Dead bodies exchanged in Pune’s Sassoon Hospital

Pune: NP News 24 Online– A shocking news has come up where two dead bodies of women have been exchanged in Pune’s Sassoon Hospital the dead bodies were brought into Sassoon for the post-mortem.

Name of one of the dead was Jaya Sabkal (39), Who used to live near Ramtekadi, who died on Monday. For the post-mortem, the body was kept in the dead house. In the same dead horse, the body of Mayuri Kale (20) was also kept. Both the women died by hanging themselves.

The authorities of Sassoon Hospital said that both the women died in the same way that’s why this confusion happened.

This is how the whole incident came in light

Along with Sinhgad Police Kale’s relatives reached the dead house on Tuesday, around 10:30 in the morning, to receive the dead body. The body was given to the relatives for the last rituals.

In the afternoon around 1, the Sabkal relatives came to collect the dead body. They had already made all the arrangements for the last rituals but when they went to the dead-house to collect the body they got to know that the dead bodies have got exchanged

When the hospital authorities got to know that they have exchanged the body they investigated further and found that the body of Sabkal has been given to the relatives of Kale and the body of Kale is in the dead house only.

At the same time, the relatives of Kale got to know that the body which they have taken from the dead house is not of Mayuri and they phoned the Sassoon Hospital authority. After a while, Kale’s relative took the body back to the Sassoon Hospital.
