Sharad Pawar takes jibe at PM Modi over Ram temple
New Delhi: Taking a jibe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar said, “Some people should focus on corona not on the temple, more than temple we have to deal with corona.”

He was addressing media, during his visit to Solapur to review the coronavirus situation. He further added, “You have to decide what to focus on. We hold the belief that coronavirus should be eliminated with utmost priority but some people think that Ram temple will be built and that’s how coronavirus will be defeated.”
Further, he went on to say that, “The state and central the government should pay attention to the fact that lockdown is causing a huge financial loss to the people, therefore helping people during this time will be first priority.”

On Saturday, the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust sent two dates i.e August 3 or August 5 for the ‘Bhoomi Pujan’ (ground breaking ceremony) of the Ram temple in Ayodhya to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The groundbreaking ceremony will be marked by prayers to Lord Shiva at the Kuber Tila shrine on the Ram Janmabhoomi site, allocated for the temple in a historic Supreme Court verdict last November.
