Shahid Kapoor Congratulates Father Pankaj Kapoor for Doctorate, Shared Photo

Bollywood’s Kabir Singh i.e. Shahid Kapoor shared a picture of his father and veteran actor Pankaj Kapoor on social media. In the picture, Pankaj Kapoor can be seen wearing a graduation robe. Recently, Pankaj Kapoor was awarded a doctorate degree at an event in Amritsar and Shahid Kapoor congratulated his father by sharing the same happiness with the fans.

On March 05 in Amritsar, Punjab Governor and Guru Nanak Dev University Chancellor VP Singh Badnore, at the 46th Annual Convocation in Dashmesh Auditorium, Chairman and Manager of Medanta Medicity, Dr. Naresh Trehan and noted actor, director, writer and Poet Pankaj Kapoor was honored with the Dr. of Medicine.

Shahid wrote the caption on Instagram story, sharing the same picture of his father – “Congregations Dad, Dr. Pankaj Kapoor”. Shahid has always given credit to his father for his career choice. During an interview, he said, “Nobody else has the courage to bring such characters to life. Also, he gives all the credit to his father and says, ‘Because I am my father’s son, that is probably why I play these characters well.’ Keeping this in mind, Shahid said that it is your responsibility whether people feel safe around you or not. You have to learn to find yourself as an artist and seeing the other hundred successful people, do not have to engage in sheepishness to become like them.’

Pankaj Kapoor also had a reaction to that point of Shahid Kapoor. He said, “My son is smarter than me in his career graph. First he became a star and then he started getting the characters he always wanted to do. I think it was a clever move.”
