Scrap dealer murdered for 500 rupees by friend

MUMBAI: NP NEWS 24 ONLINE –  A Mumbai based scrap dealer has been murdered by his own friend for 500 rupees. The name of the scrap dealer is Dipak Chauhan. Surprisingly, he was just 19 years of age.

The incident took place in Sonarpada, Mumbai.

Manpada police has registered a complaint and Dipak’s friend has been arrested by the police. The name of the suspect is Badasha Khan.

Dipak used to earn his bread and butter by selling the scrap which he used to collect throughout the day. He went absconding since Saturday afternoon. A missing complaint was registered with police.

Police found a dead body near Nakanipada on Sunday. The dead body was identified by the police as Dipak. He was attacked by a sharp object. His dead body was found in a plastic bag.

Dipak’s brother registered a complaint in the police station. Police then checked the CCTV footage in which one could see the face of Badshah. After watching the CCTV footage Badshah was taken into custody by police.

In police custody he was found guilty of his crime after he accepted that the crime was committed by him. The reason for murder which he revealed is even more shocking. He asked Dipak for 500 rupees which Dipak refused to give thus he murdered Dipak.
