Agusta Deal’s main accused took names of Kamal Nath’s son, Khurshid and Ahmed Patel

New Delhi : Rajiv Saxena, a key accused and chartered accountant in the AgustaWestland Deal, has named Ratul Puri, nephew of former Madhya Pradesh CM Kamal Nath, son Bakul Nath, Salman Khurshid and Ahmed Patel in interrogation. Saxena was granted interim bail three weeks ago in the AgustaWestland VVIP chopper deal case. Explain that this deal was worth 3,000 crores.

Saxena was extradited from Dubai in January 2019 and questioned by the Enforcement Directorate. Saxena’s assets worth Rs 385 crore were attached in this case. Saxena’s statement with the ED of English newspaper The Indian Express – recorded in 1,000 pages.

The details of Saxena’s statement indicate that there are alleged deficiencies in the AgustaWestland deal. This deal was canceled by the UPA 2 government. The deal was done through two companies, including Saxena’s Interstellar Technologies and Christian Mitchell’s Global Service. Michelle has been in jail since 2018.

According to Express’s report, in the supplementary charge sheet filed on September 17, the CBI stated that in the year 2000, Saxena acquired 99.9% shares of Interstellar Technologies. Letters of Italy and Mauritius have been cited in the charge sheet. It is alleged that Saxena together with Gautam Khaitan acquired Euro 12.40 million in the account of Interstellar Technologies from AgustaWestland. This money was further used to pay middlemen and suspected officials involved in the case.

There is also information about 9,48,862 euro payments made by Global Services in four companies owned by Saxena. These four companies of Saxena are Pacific International FZC, Midas Metals International LLC, Metolix Limited and Eurotrade Limited.

In the interrogation of Saxena, the focus has been on the financial transactions of two other accused in the AgustaWestland case, defense dealer Susheen Mohan Gupta and nephew of former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath. Both Gupta and Puri were taken into custody and are currently out on bail.

Saxena alleges that Gupta and Khaitan were adept at using names. He often used the names of several effective politicians. Through this, he used to increase his power in politics. He often took the names of Salman Khurshid and Kamal Nath.

In response to a question related to the political people involved in the case, Saxena said- ‘I know that Interstellar Technologies Limited was one of the bribe companies from AgustaWestland. Interstellar Technologies was owned by Sushne Mohan Gupta, who controlled the company through Gautham Khaitan. During my meetings with Sushne Mohan Gupta and Gautam Khaitan, he often referred to leaders. They used to name AP in the conversation which meant Ahmed Patel.
