RSS shakha attacked, two held

NPnews24 Online: For allegedly attacking on Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Shakha (camp) here in Bundi district, two persons were arrested. On July 10, an RSS Shakha was organized in a park, where a clash erupted between some people and RSS volunteers over some issue, which is yet not clear.

According to the Sangh, some young boys, who participated in the event, sustained injuries in the incident as they were beaten up by mob.

Soon after receiving information, the police rushed to the spot and tried to pacify the situation.

.”It is not an old matter. We used to organize our sessions in this park. People from Muslim community opposed the session and started using abusive language for us. When we asked to move away, they began fighting with us, and few of them also beaten up to children, “an RSS volunteer said.

We have filed a complaint with police and they assured us that strict action would be taken against the accused. However, they were given bail later and we are not happy with the probe,” he said.

Meanwhile, Bundi Superintendent of Police said that they have set up a team who is patrolling the park. He said two persons have been arrested in the case and they are being interrogated by the police.
