Rhea Chakraborty complaint against neighbor for false claim, Ritesh Deshmukh comes in support

Mumbai: Rhea Chakraborty has decided to go behind people who tried defaming her image. Rhea wrote in a letter to CBI special team Chief Nupur Sharma that her neighbour had falsely claimed that Sushant had come to drop her at her place on June 13.

Rhea Chakraborty has got bail from the Bombay High Court in the drug case stemming from the Sushant Singh Rajput case. Rhea has now pledged to take legal action against such people, who made statements without any basis during the investigation of the case. Rhea requested the CBI to take action against a neighbor who tried to divert the direction of the case by giving a false statement to the media.

According to a report, in a letter written to CBI special team chief Nupur Sharma, Rhea said that her neighbour Dimple Thawani falsely claimed that Sushant had come to her house on June 13 to drop Rhea. Sushant’s dead body was found at his home on 14 June. Rhea has given letter to CBI through her lawyer Satish Manshinde. The letter further stated that prima facie such cases are punishable under Sections 203 (misrepresentation of an alleged offense) and 211 (false allegation of offense) of the Indian Penal Code, which carry a sentence of up to 7 years.

Rhea’s move was being supported by Ritesh Deshmukh, in a tweet he wrote – May you get more power. Nobody has more power than truth.

Sushant’s father KK Singh had lodged a report in Patna against Rhea Chakraborty and her family. Rhea is accused of abetment to suicide. On the recommendation of the Bihar government, the Central Government handed over the investigation to the CBI. The Enforcement Directorate has investigated the financial irregularities in the Sushant’s case. The drugs angle also surfaced and is being investigated by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). Rhea was arrested by the NCB on 8 September and got bail on 7 October by the Bombay High Court. Rhea’s brother Shovik Chakraborty is also under NCB arrest but bail was denied.
