Ramadan 2020 Likely to Start from April 25 with Moon Sighting, Know Sehri & Iftar Time in India

New Delhi : Ramadan is considered a very holy month for Islam. The ninth month of the Islamic calendar is considered the most sacred. Muslims observe 29 or 30 Roza (fasting) every year. Start date of Ramadan is starting in India depends on the moon rise. On Thursday, the moon was already visible in Udpadi and Dakshina Kannada districts of Karnataka. Due to which Ramadan has started here from April 24 but the moon is not yet visible in other parts of India, due to which it is expected that the first fast will be on April 25. On the other hand, in Saudi Arabia also, the Ramadan has started.

Sehri or Iftar
The food eaten before sunrise in Roza is called Sehari. After this, they fast for a day without consuming food or water. Then in the evening after sunset, fast is broke and eat food which is known as Iftar.

Iftar & Sehri Time
If the first Rosa falls on 25 April, then the Iftar time will be at 6.33 pm. With this, the time of Sehri will be at 3.29 pm on the last day of the holy month of Ramadan. At the same time, Iftar will be at 6.48 minutes. In this month, the time of Sehri and Iftar keeps changing on second and third day. On the other hand, this time, on the last day of the month, there will be longest Roza of 15 hours 27 minutes.

It is said about Ramadan that in this holy month, people pray and ask Allah for forgiveness of their sins. Doing Ibabat on these days gives 70 times more reward than other days.
