Rajinikanth donates Rs 50 lakh to Tamil Nadu CM Relief Fund

Mumbai : Celebrities from Kollywood are coming forward to help people in the fight against Corona. Superstar Rajinikanth has assured the newly elected Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu MK Stalin of all possible help in the fight against Corona. He has also handed over a cheque of 50 lakh rupees to him. The money given by Rajinikanth will go directly to the CM Relief Fund and people will be helped from there. Rajinikanth reached the Secretariat and met CM Stalin of Tamil Nadu and handed over the cheque to him.

Recently, Rajinikanth received Corona vaccine. On the other hand, Soundarya Rajinikanth, his daughter and her husband, Vishgan, and their family had donated Rs 1 crore to the government. She then took to Twitter sharing the news and wrote, “My father-in-law Mr S.S.Vanangamudi, husband Vishagan, his sister and I visited the honorable Chief minister @mkstalin sir this morning to hand over our contribution of 1cr for the chief ministers #CoronaReliefFund from our pharma company Apex laboratories, Makers of #Zincovit (sic).”

As India battles the second wave of deadly coronavirus, lack of oxygen cylinders and medicines has also become a major cause of concern. With this, several actors have come forth to help.
