Rajasthan High Court asks schools to charge 70% of fees only considering COVID-19

Jaipur: Rajasthan High Court took major decision on payment of school fees. HC has asked schools to charge 70% of the total fees during the time of school closures due to Covid-19. Parents are required to pay the school fees in three instalments till January 31.

The decision was given by Justice SP Sharma of Rajasthan High Court on an appeal by private schools challenging the Rajasthan government’s decision asking schools to defer fees during this time.

The order was given on three petitions through which around 200 schools had challenged the Rajasthan Government’s decision.

Currently, due pandemic schools are closed and Ministry of education has asked to schedule online classes.
