Rajasthan Government Defers Electricity-Water Bills for 2 Months

Jaipur : The crisis of coronavirus in the country is constantly increasing. At the same time, 21 days lockdown is ordered in the entire country to deal with the outbreak of Coronavirus. Meanwhile, the Rajasthan government has given relief to the people of the state in electricity and water bills.

Due to 21 days of lockdown in the country, people have been instructed not to leave their homes. In such a situation, economic activities are also braced. Meanwhile, the Gehlot government of Rajasthan has announced to postpone electricity and water bills for two months.

The Rajasthan government has decided to postpone electricity and water bills for two months for industrial units, farmers and common people in the state. With this decision of Gehlot Government, people suffering from financial crisis due to lockdown will get relief.

According to the government’s estimate, about 1,68,000 consumers of small, medium and large industries will get big relief from this step. At the same time, to benefit the common consumers, the state government has decided to postpone the payment of water bills in the months of March and April. Consumers will be able to pay these bills in the month of June.

Rajasthan has been the first state in India to deal with the dangers of corona virus infection, which decided to lockdown the state before the nationwide lockdown. At the same time, Ashok Gehlot government has decided to screen all seven and a half crore people in the state.

During this screening in the state, it has been decided to conduct sample testing in case of suspicion of corona infection. In this process, the employees of the medical department as well as the Anganwadi workers and district collectorate staff will do the screening work.
