Pune: Two persons booked for allegedly molesting a woman

Pimpri: A woman was molested and harassed near Talwade cemetery on Tuesday (February 16). A case has been registered against two persons at Chikhali police station. Police have registered a case against Navnath Atpadkar and Naresh Chaudhary, both resident of Gaikwad Vasti, Kuruli, Chakan. The victim has lodged a complaint with Chikhali police.

According to the police, the victim works as a housekeeping worker and had come to the contractor to get her money. The accused took the woman on a two-wheeler near Talwade Gaothan cemetery in Chikhali. The men then took her to a secluded area.

Accused Atpadkar told Chaudhary to go away saying that he wanted to talk privately with the woman concerned. Meanwhile, Atpadkar molested the woman. Upon that she called Chaudhary for help but Chaudhary threatened her not to tell anyone and said that he made a video of the whole incident.
