Pune: Sexual Exploitation of Girl From Panchgani Luring Fake Marriage Promise; Complaint at Samarth Police Station

Pune: A young woman from Panchgani in Satara was raped by a man from Pimpri-Chinchwad, who allured her with a fake marriage promise. The victim girl was sexually assaulted by the accused by taking her to different places in the city, sexually assaulting her, and later refusing marriage with her.

In this regard, the victim girl from Panchgani in Mahabaleshwar taluka, district Satara, filed a complaint against the accused at Samarth police station on Sunday. Accordingly, Samarth Police registered a police case under IPC 376 against Nilesh Anil Siraswal.

Siraswal, 32, is originally a resident of Pimpri-Chinchwad. According to the complaint, she and the accused are friends on social media. Through social media, they started talking to each other, which further led to their romantic relationship. After that, the accused, Siraswal, lured the young woman for marriage, took her to different places, and forcibly maintained physical relations with her.

However, after that, the accused backpedalled on his promise and shockingly refused the girl for marriage, leaving her astonished. Feeling cheated, the accused girl filed a police complaint against the accused. Further investigation is being conducted by Woman Police Sub-Inspector Manisha Giri.
