Classes for Stds I to VIII will be held fulltime : Ajit Pawar

Pune : NpNews24 Online – Pune School Update | Covid-19 restrictions are being relaxed gradually as the number of cases are decreasing in Pune. Schools and colleges re-opened in the city from February 1. Classes for Stds I to VIII were held for four hours only. Now classes for these standards will be held fulltime. This was revealed by District Guardian Minister and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar on Saturday.
This decision was announced in the review meeting of Covid-19 situation in Pune city and district. Pawar said, “Schools re-opened on February 1. Classes were held part-time for Stds I to VIII. However, it is decided that classes for these standards will be held fulltime.”
Giving details about the Covid-19 situation, Ajit Pawar said, “The number of fresh cases are declining world-wide. However, the daily death rate has increased. Doctors are finding out the reasons behind this. New cases are decreasing in France and the USA. The number is increasing in Germany. However, in India, there was a 30% dip in cases last week. The decrease in cases is 50% in Pune district.”
