Pune News | Rescue Operation Underway for Four Trapped Workers in Indapur Well

Pune : NpNews24 Online  –  Pune News | A search and rescue operation is currently in progress for four employees who are feared to be trapped beneath the debris of a well they were working in, in a village in the Pune area. The tragic incident occurred on Tuesday evening while the workmen were engaged in constructing the inner rings of the well in Mhasaobawadi village, located in the Indapur taluka, approximately 120 kilometers away from Pune city. The Pune Rural Police reported that the incident is believed to have occurred sometime before 6 pm, but it came to light only around 8.30 pm when the family members of the four laborers grew concerned as they did not return home.

The devastating mishap has prompted an urgent response from rescue teams and authorities. The well construction site has become the center of an intense search operation, aiming to locate and safely retrieve the missing workers.

Details surrounding the cause of the collapse are still under investigation, and authorities are working diligently to assess the situation and provide support to the affected families.
