Pune News | NCP Takes Strict Stance, Expels Women Office Bearers Following Party Split

Pune : Pune News | The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) has taken a firm stance following the recent split within the party, under the leadership of senior leader Sharad Pawar and MP Supriya Sule. Several women office bearers have been expelled from their positions at the state level, as announced by women state president Vidya Chavan.

The expelled office bearers include Uma Munde (Raigad), Deepali Pandhre (Solapur), Kavita Alhat (Pimpri), Vaishali Nagwade (Pune), Lochan Shivle (Pune), Sheetal Hagwane (Pimpri Chinchwad), and Prerna Balkawade (Nashik). They have been removed from their roles within the women’s organization with immediate effect, as stated in the letter issued by Vidya Chavan.

The decision to expel these office bearers comes after it was observed that they had shown support for the MLAs who joined the existing government and were sworn in as ministers. The letter clarifies that this action is inconsistent with the party’s mission and policies, warranting their dismissal.

Furthermore, the expelled office bearers have been warned against using the party’s name, symbol, photo, and the name of senior leader Sharad Pawar in the future. Failure to comply with this directive may result in legal action being taken against them.

These women office bearers held significant positions within the NCP and their support for Ajit Pawar prompted the party to make the decision to expel them. The letters of dismissal have been delivered to each of the concerned office bearers.

The expulsion of these office bearers serves as a reminder that actions inconsistent with the party’s policies will not be tolerated.
