Pune News | Congress leader Mohan Joshi in Pune said to dismiss the Manipur government immediately

Pune: Pune News | The state of affairs in Manipur is deteriorating from the last three months. The outbreak of violence and the oppression of many women has been going on in Manipur. A large-scale protest was held in front of the Pune Collector Office on behalf of the Regional Christian Society and progressive organizations.

 

Speaking on this occasion, Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Vice President Mohan Joshi said, ” The communal violence has been going on in Manipur for the past three months. Prime Minister Narendra Modi does not take this matter seriously even after the Congress party has requested him many times, he has remained silent on these matters. The whole world has seen the Manipur incident and because of it the honor of our country has gone down in shame. On Thursday the Supreme Court took cognizance of the incident and pulled the trigger on the central government. PM Modi spoke on the issue for only 36 seconds in an eight-minute speech outside Parliament.

 

On this occasion, President of the organization Prashant Kedari, Rahul Dambale Ashwinitai Landge, Pravin Karpe, Juber Memon, Suresh Kamble, Pashtar Kelkar, Father Robin Mantode, Anton Kadam, Alis Lobo, along with representatives of progressive ideas in the society were present and they gave the memorandum to Pune collector Dr. Rajesh Deshmukh.

 

During the protest the protestors shouted slogans like ‘Save Manipur Save Humanity’ and ‘Dismiss Manipur Government’.
