Pune: Man’s Rampage in Nigdi; Vandalised Household Items, Assaulted Boy’s Father Over Alleged Relationship With His Sister

Pune: Enraged by a boy’s affair with his sister, a person from Akurdi intruded into the boy’s house and assaulted his father. Furthermore, he also vandalised the household items from the house with the machete and threatened to kill the boy. This horrifying incident took place on Wednesday, February 14, at around 11.15 p.m. at Ruston Colony in Nigdi.

In this regard, a woman filed a complaint against two accused at Nigdi police station on Thursday. Accordingly, Nigdi police booked the two accused, identified as Pranav Suresh Kamble, a resident of Akurdi, and Harshal Sanjay Lohar, a resident of Talegaon Dabhade, Pune, under IPC 452, 323, 504, 506 (2), 427, and 34, the Arms Act, and the Maharashtra Police Act.

On Wednesday evening, the plaintiff and her husband were in their house. At that time, the accused, Pranav Kamble, forcibly entered the plaintiff’s house with one of his friends. They both have machetes in their hands.

Furious by the fact of the plaintiff’s son’s relationship with his sister, the accused Kamble abused the plaintiff and her husband and also assaulted the plaintiff’s husband with hands and kicks. He also asked the whereabouts of the plaintiff’s son and threatened to kill him if he persisted in a relationship with his sister. In this altercation, the accused also vandalised the plaintiff’s house with a machete, damaging all the household items, including the TV.

It has been mentioned in the prosecution that the accused, Harshal Lohar, threatened to kill the plaintiff’s son, Saurabh. Further investigation is being conducted by Police Sub-Inspector Maner.
