Pune: Kharadi gym trainer violates colleague, threatens to make obscene videoviral

The suspect has been identified as Deepak Chougule, a resident of Pimpri-Chinchwad. The woman has filed a complaint in this regard against Chougule. Based on this complaint, Chougule has been charged under section 376 (rape) and other relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code.

According to police, Chougule and the victim work as trainers in a gym at Kharadi. Three days ago, Chowgule called the woman and asked her to get a tiffin box as he was hungry. He then poured a sedative into a soft drink and gave it to her to drink. The young woman became unconscious after which he sexually assaulted her. Chougule also allegedly videotaped the whole incident.

After the young woman regained consciousness, she was shocked. At the time, the suspect showed her the video footage he had made and threatened to make the video viral if she told anyone about the incident.

The young woman was terrified by this incident and told her friend about the same. She then went to Chandan Nagar police station and lodged a complaint against the suspect. The matter is being investigated by Police Sub-Inspector Kiran Aute.
