Pune Delhi flight woes: Passengers returning same day get only five hours for work

Pune: The first flight from Pune to Delhi will take off at 8.05 am as the airport will be closed at night for runway repair work. The flight will land at Delhi Airport at 10.15 am. Therefore, the Delhi gate will be opened for passengers from Pune only after 10am. The last flight will be at 7:40 pm.

The runway of the airport at Lohegaon is being recarpeted. As the airport will be closed from 8 pm to 8 am from Monday (October 26), flights have been canceled. Earlier, airport director Kuldeep Singh had said that the flights would be rescheduled. But despite these changes, the first flight from Pune will take off only after 8 am, so it will take around 10 am to reach another city. As a result, many will have to endure financial hardships, including the collapse of their day-to-day planning.

The first flight from Delhi to Pune is at 6.30 am and the last flight is at 5.30 pm. Therefore, if you want to travel Pune-Delhi-Pune in one day, you only get five to six hours for various activities.
