Pune – Dacoits fire at jewelry shop employees, 1 injured

Pune: NP NEWS 24 ONLINE – In the second firing incident on Wednesday, dacoits fired at employees of a jewelry shop in Yewalewadi near Kondhwa for looting the shop. One employee has sustained injuries.

The incident took place around 2 pm at Ganesh Jewellers. The injured employee has been identified as Amrat Parihar (30). He is undergoing treatment at a hospital.

After getting information about the incident, senior police officials including DCP Shirish Sardeshpande, ACP Sameer Shaikh from Crime Branch and senior police inspector Anil Patil from Kondhwa police station rushed to the spot.

Preliminary investigation has revealed that the dacoits had fired for looting at the jewelry shop.

Earlier in the morning, a woman Ekta Brijesh Bhati (38) was shot dead inside her house in Anand Park area of Vadgaosheri under Chandan Nagar police station. Two men had there and fired at her. The door was open, while her husband was in a flat on the other floor.
