Girl seeking online loan to pay college fee threatened with morphed photos and videos

A 21-year-old resident of Lohegaon has lodged a complaint at the Viman Nagar police station. The incident took place between February 11 and July 11, 2022.
According to the police, the girl is studying in a college. She wanted money to pay college fees and hence, she downloaded coco app from Google Playstore.
She uploaded her information on the app and she started getting calls from Jharkhand. Using the documents and photos uploaded by her on the app, porn videos and nude photos were created.
The photos and videos were sent to her. She was threatened that they will be made viral on social media. The morphed photos and videos were sent to a girl in her contact list and her reputation was tarnished.
