Pune Crime News | Three nabbed for firing at youth, 2 country-made pistols seized in Warje Malwadi
Pune : Pune Crime News | The police have taken custody of three minors in connection with a firing at a youth near Jai Bhavain Nagar within the limits of the Warje Malwadi Police Station. The trio shot at Suraj Tatyaba Langar (21), a resident of Malwadi, Near Jai Bhavani Nagar Chowk on Saturday afternoon. Suraj was injured in the firing. The police were searching for the culprits.
Two contry-made pistols have been seized from their possession. The Warje Malwadi Police have held the culprit within 24 hours of the incident and the firearms seized.
Policemen Pradeep Shelar and Bunty More got a tip-off on Sunday about the shooters. They came to know that the trio escaped towards Chandani Chowk on a red-black motorcycle with their faces covered with handkerchiefs after the shootout. PSI Narendra Mundhe, PSI Rameshwar Parve of the investigation team formed various teams, along with Pradeep Shelar, Amol Raut, Hanmant Masal, Bunty More, Shrikant Bhangre and Vicky Khilari. They set a trap on the road towards Chandani Chowk.
Later, they saw the trio with their faces covered with handkerchiefs on the mobike. Two of them were carrying country-made pistols, which were confiscated. The culprits were detained.
The action was taken under the guidance of CP Retesh Kumaarr, Joint CP Sandeep Karnik, Addl CP Pravinkarmar Patil. DCP Suhail Sharma, ACP Bhimrao Tele. PI Dattaram Bagwe instructed PSI Narednra Mundhe, PSI Rameshwar Parve, PSI Pradeep Shelar and policemen Amol Raut, Hanmant Masal, Bunty More, Shrikant Bhangre and Vicky Khilari during the action.
