Pune : NpNews24 Online – Pune Crime News | A policeman befriended a woman police constable during the lockdown. He offered her a drink laced with sedative and raped her. He filmed the act and threatened her to make the video viral and frequently raped her. He also threatened to kill her at gunpoint.(Pune Crime News)

A case has been registered against Deepak Sitaram Moghe at the Market Yard Police Station by the Khadak Police. The victim lodged a complaint at the Khadak Police Station in this regard. The incident took place at the Police Colony and at a lodge in Khadakwasla from 2020 to August 2023.

According to the police, the complainant and the accused work in the city police force and stay in the Police Colony. Moghe befriended the complainant during the lockdown. He used to visit her home and have food there. Once he offered a drink laced with a sedative to the complainant. Later, she started vomiting. The accused gave her some medicine, which made her unconscious. Taking advantage of this, he raped her.

He also filmed the act. When she came to know about this, she questioned his behaviour. However, he threatened to make the video clip viral. He also threatened to kill her husband. He took her to various places and raped her. He even threatened to kill her at gunpoint. The accused snatched away gold jewellery weighing 5-7 tolas, a laptop, a dongle and a mobile phone from her cupboard. Fed up of torture by him, she finally approached the police.
