Pune Crime News | Parvati police arrested 5 people for attempting a murder of minor boy
Pune : NpNews24 Online – Pune Crime News | The five people attacked a minor and made an attempt to kill him suspecting that he was harassing their relatives. The incident took place on Saturday at Panmala Sinhagad Road at around 10 pm in Pune. In this case the Pune police have arrested five people from under the flyover near Laxminarayan Talkies on Pune Satara Road. (Pune Crime News)
The accused have been identified as Arun Rohidas Chandanashive (47), Ashok Rohidas Chandanashive (48) a resident of Dhairi, Vicky Kumar Chandanashive alias Raj Vicky Kumar Chandanashive alias Raj (32) resident of Benkarvasti in Dhairi, Kunal Kurshna Sawant (24) resident of Narhe, Pune, Prasik alias Ranjit Uttam Kamble (32) resident of Panmala, Sinhagad Road. The minor has filed a complaint in Parvati police station. Police have registered a case under Indian Penal Code (IPC) sections 307, 326, 143, 147, 148, 149 and 506 Arms Act, Maharashtra Police Act.
While investigating the crime the police officers Kundan Shinde, Saddam Shaikh, Prakash Margje received the information that the accused was in the parking lot under the flyover near Laxminarayan Talkies and was preparing to escape. Accordingly, the police laid a trap and detained the accused. After thorough interrogation the accused confessed to the crime.
The uncle of the plaintiff was murdered 10 years ago. Ashok Chandanashive and Arun Chandanashive accused in this crime were acquitted six years back. The accused suspected that the minor boy was harassing his relatives out of anger. The investigation has revealed that out of this anger the accused attempted to murder the minor. Police are investigating if anyone else is involved in this crime. Further investigation is being conducted by police sub-inspector Sunil Jagdale.
The action was initiated under the guidance of Pune police commissioner Ritesh Kumar, joint commissioner of police Sandeep Karnik, additional commissioner of police Pravinkumar Patil, deputy commissioner of police Suhail Sharma, assistant commissioner of police Appasaheb Shewale, senior police inspector Jayaram Paygude, police inspector Vijay Khomne and was taken by sub-inspector Sunil Jagdale by a team of police constables Kundan Shinde, Prakash Margje, Amit Surve, Saddam Sheikh, Dayanand Telange-Patil, Navnath Bhosle, Pramod Bhosle, Prashant Shinde, Anis Tamboli, Purushottam Gunla, Kishore Vale Amit Chive and Amol Dabde.
