Pune Crime News | NCP’s woman office-bearer arrested for slapping policeman; Sent to three-day police custody

Pune : NpNews24 Online  – Pune Crime News | A woman office-bearer of NCP, Dr Vandana Mohite, has been arrested after she slapped a traffic policeman over a dispute about allowing her vehicle to pass through a toll plaza. According to the Yavat police, on Thursday (June 15), Police Naik Nitin Koham was supervising the traffic at Kasurdi toll naka. Dr Vandana Mohite, who is the chief of the doctors’ cell of Baramati LS constituency, arrived in a car. She had an argument with Koham about allowing her car to pass through the naka. Dr Mohite, who was angry, slapped Police Naik Koham.

An FIR was registered against Dr Mohite for obstructing government work and she was arrested later. The court has sent her to three-day police custody. API Madhuri Taware is probing the case.
