Pune Crime News | Koyta Gang’s Nighttime Rampage Sparks Fear and Outrage in Donje

Pune: Pune Crime News | A terrifying incident has shaken the peaceful village of Donje in Haveli district, Pune, as a gang of 10 to 12 individuals wreaked havoc on the streets. Armed with machetes, known as “Koytas,” the gang vandalized a car (Maruti Suzuki Swift) and a motorcycle (RE Bullet), causing panic and fear among the locals.

The incident was triggered by a seemingly trivial dispute between a young man, Ijaz Munir Sheikh, and another youth on a two-wheeler. A mud-splattering accident led to a verbal argument and scuffle, which the locals intervened to resolve. However, the situation took a darker turn the following night.

Around 8 PM on the 17th, the gang, with their faces concealed by handkerchiefs, arrived on two-wheelers at Donje. Armed with menacing machetes, they unleashed an attack, vandalizing a Swift car and a Bullet motorcycle while shouting abusive language. The sudden act of violence left Ijaz and his family members terrified, and the entire area gripped by fear.

In response to this disturbing incident, Ijaz Munir Sheikh took a brave step and filed a complaint at Haveli Police Station on the 16th, naming Shiv Prasad alias Manya Kisan Chorghe and his unidentified accomplices as the perpetrators. The police promptly registered a case against the accused, who are all believed to be from the Dhairi area. (Pune Crime News)
