Pune Crime News | Haveli police parade notorious criminal in areas where he had spread reign of terror

PUNE:  Pune Crime News |“Sir, you will not beat up anybody now isn’t it? My capacity is over. Are you in a lot of pain?” There were the words used by a notorious criminal who had claimed that he was not scared of anyone including the police and was threatening residents of Kirkatwadi and Khadakwasla areas of Sinhagad Road and was abusing them. The notorious criminal was Vaibhav Ikkar (23), a resident of Kolhewadi, Khadakwasla.

On Sunday (July 23), notorious criminal Vaibhav Ikkar and his accomplice Chetan Chorghe (27), a resident of Kolhewadi, Khadakwasla had vandalised a restaurant located near Sinhagad Road.

 

They had also abused, pushed aside and threatened police personnel who had arrived at the spot. Earlier also, had assaulted police personnel and many serious crimes are registered against him.

 

Based on the complaint by the restaurant owner, an FIR had been registered against Vaibhav Ikkar and his accomplice Chetan Chorghe. Official in-charge Anmol Mittal has started the process of taking stern action against him.

 

To end the reign of terror of these criminals, the police took Vaibhav Ikkar and Chetan Chorghe to the concerned restaurant and gave him a ‘special’ treatment.

 

The police paraded him on Khadakwasla-Kirkatwadi roads where he had spread his reign of terror. Hundreds of local residents had lined up the streets and praised the police for their action.
