Pune Crime News | Goon held for seriously injuring hotelier with iron rod
Pune: Pune Crime News | The Samarth Police have arrested a goon, who spread terror by hitting a hotelier with an iron rod in his head and injuring him seriously for demanding the bill payment for a rice dish.
The goon has been identified as Rama Deva Chakale (22), a resident of Somwar Peth. Salman Naushad Shaikh (36), a resident of Kondhwa, lodged a complaint with the Samarth Police in this regard. The incident happened at Al Hind Caterers near Chandtara Masjid in Nana Peth.
According to the police, Shaikh runs Al Hind Caterers. Chakale visited his eatery and ordered dalcha rice. However, the accused started abusing the complainant when he demanded the bill payment. Chakale hit Shaikh with an iron road in his head and hand and injured him seriously. The accused threatened him that he would kill him if he demanded money again. He also threatened onlookers with the rod. The police rushed to the spot after learning about the incident and arrested Chakale.
