An office, two houses ransacked due to past enmity
Pune : NpNews24 Online – Pune Crime News | A gang of 10-15 people terrorised local residents in Aranyeshwar by damaging vehicles parked on the roadside due to an old enmity. The incident took place in the wee hours on Tuesday. (Pune Crime News)
The gang also broke doors of an office and a house by stoning and hitting them with a sickle. The Sahakar Nagar Police have identified seven people from the gang. The process of arrest is underway.
The gang of 10-15 people arrived at Annabhau Sathe Nagar at around 2.30 am and started damaging vehicles parked on the roadside. They were shouting loudly and hitting the vehicles with sickles. They damaged an auto-rickshaw, 10 two-wheelers, an office and two houses.
Nobody dared to step out of their homes due to the terrorising by the gang. The commotion continued for quite some time. Citizens reported the matter to the police control room after the gang left. Then the police rushed to the spot.
