Pune Crime News | 3 minors raped & impregnated on pretext of marriage in Pune, three cases registered under POCSO on same day
Pune: Pune Crime News | In a shocking incident which came to light in Pune the three minor in the age group of 15-17 years were raped and impregnated on the pretext of marriage. The Pune police have registered the case against three persons on same day under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO) and arrested two of them.
In first incident a 17-year-old girl a resident of Ganesh Peth has filed a complaint at Khadak police station. Accordingly, the police have arrested Pramod Mahadev Thoble (28) a resident of Mahatma Phule Peth. The complainant and the accused were known to each other. In the month of April in 2023 the accused went to victim’s place when she was alone and had a physical relationship with her. The girl registered a case after realising that she was 3 months pregnant.
In another incident a 15-year-old girl has lodged a complaint at Swargate police station. Accordingly, the police have arrested Ashok Anil Kale (19) a resident of Ambika slum area. The accused is a relative of the victim. The accused lured the victim into marriage and had physical relations with her between August 2022 and March 2023. It has been revealed that the girl is now 8 months pregnant.
In the third incident a woman living in Mahamadwadi has filed a complaint at Chandan Nagar police station. Accordingly, the police have registered a case against Ganesh Waghmare (20) a resident of Chandannagar. The accused had a physical relationship between May 2023 and June 27, 2023 with the complainant’s 15-year-old sister by luring her for marriage. It has been revealed that the girl is now one and a half months pregnant.
