Man arrested for threatening to kill woman

Pune : NpNews24 Online – Pune Crime | The Khadak police have arrested a person for continuously following a woman and threatening to kill her when she objected to his actions. The accused has been identified as Kailas alias Raju Bajrang Kamble (50), a resident of PMC Colony, Mahatma Phule Peth.

A 37-year-old woman staying in Padmavati has lodged a complaint at the Khadak police station. Kailas Kamble was harassing the woman for the last four years till February 17.

According to the police, the accused used to tell her that he will get a job for her and tried to get intimate with her. When she used to go out, he used to ask her where she was going and whether he could accompany her. When the woman refused to talk to him, he used to tell her that he liked her very much and wanted to go out with her.

When the woman was going near Swami Samarth Math in Ganj Peth on Thursday at 5.30 pm, he stopped her and told her that he liked her and wanted to go out with her. When the complainant told him that she will call her brother and mother, he threatened to kill her and make their photos viral.

The complainant was scared and approached the police station. The police have arrested Kailas Kamble and API Mhaske is investigating the case.
