Fugitive in murder bid case arrested in Pune station area

Pune : NpNews24 OnlinePune Crime |  The Pune police anti-dacoity and anti-vehicle theft squad 1 arrested an accused in an attempt to murder case, who was absconding for the past four months. (Pune Crime)

 

The police laid a trap to arrest him. The action took place in front of Alankar cinema hall near Pune railway station on Monday. The arrested has been identified as Navnath Govind Adagale (35) of Yerawada.

 

The squad officials and personnel were searching for fugitives, externed goons and accused in other crimes. They received a tip-off that Adagale was standing near the cinema hall. The squad laid a trap and nabbed him. Later, he admitted to have committed the crime. He was absconding after committing the crime. He has been handed over to the Yerawada police station.

 

The action was taken under the guidance of CP Amitabh Gupta, Joint CP Dr Ravindra Shisve, Addl CP Ramnath Pokale, DCP Srinivas Ghadge, ACP Gajanan Tompe and Senior PI Ajay Waghmare. A team comprising PSI Shubhangi Narke, police personnel Ganesh Patol and Akshay Gaikwad took the action.
