FIR filed against two people for cheating investors of Rs 38 lakh
Pune : NpNews24 Online – Pune Crime | An incident of fraud has come to light in Pune where many investors were told to invest money in Shreyas Finance Consultancy Company’s plans and were cheated of Rs 37 lakh 75 thousand. In this connection, a case has been registered at Alankar police station under sections of 420, 406, 34 of IPC and sections 3 and 4 of the Maharashtra Protection of Depositors’ Interests Act against two partners of Shreyas Finance Consultancy Nashik Cushions Kapgate and Asha Nashik Kapgate. Pradipkumar Anilkumar Mukherjee (52), a resident of Nyati Estate, Mohammadwadi, Pune has filed a complaint. The police have registered a case against Nashik Cushions Kapgate and Asha Nashik Kapgate, a resident of flat number 8, Madhumalini, lane number 6, Dahanukar Colony, Kothrud, Pune. The incident took place between February 7, 2021 and August 10, 2021 at the NDA Road office in Pune. The police registered a case on April 8 after a complaint from the complainant.
According to the police, the partners of Shreyas Finance Consultancy won the trust of the complainant and other people and told them to invest in the company’s plans. As per the agreement between the complainant and the victim, the investors were not given any return on their investment. The accused cheated the investors of Rs 37 lakh and 75 thousand. The Alankar police are probing the case.
