Case registered in Kondhwa police station for trying to kill woman
Pune : NpNews24 Online – Pune Crime | An incident has come to light wherein a married woman was forced to consume floor cleaning liquid for failing to get a loan of Rs 2 lakh from her parents to clear the housing loan. The Kondhwa police have filed a case against her husband and two others. (Pune Crime)
A 23-year-old woman staying in Sayyed Nagar, Hadapsar has lodged a complaint at the Kondhwa police station. The police have registered an attempt o murder case against the woman’s husband Rehan Kazi, mother-in-law Nazma Kazi, sister-in-law Gazala Kazi and Hina Shaikh. The incident had taken place at Kingston Serene society on Handewadi Road.
According to the police, the complainant was staying with her husband, mother-in-law and sister-in-law. The flat has been purchased by Rehan Kazi. He and others were harassing the woman to bring a loan of Rs 2 lakh to pay off the home loan.
Since she did not get the money from her parents, on February 12, they forced her to drink floor cleaning liquid of a private company and tried to kill her. She took medical treatment and filed a complaint at the Kondhwa police station. API Mohite is carrying out a probe.
