Case filed against three employees of India Home Loan Limited for cheating customer of Rs 37 lakh

Pune : NpNews24 Online – Pune Crime | Private finance companies provide loans under the guise of helping people. However, many incidents are coming to light wherein officials of these companies cheat and fleece customers by their high-handed behaviour. A similar incident has come to light in Sadashiv Peth.

They submitted fake documents in a finance company despite knowing that there will be no construction and took Rs 2 lakh from a youth to sanction the loan. The officials wrote an amount on a cheque given for taking a loan and it got bounced and a case was filed against the youth.

Umesh Nangre (43), a resident of Dhayari has lodged a complaint at the Vishrambaug police station. A case has been filed against Yogendra Raghunath Khiste (50), a resident of Sadashiv Peth, Mitesh Mahesh Pujari (44), a resident of Lok Everest, Mulund west, Mumbai, Prem Advani (40), a resident of Nirmal Express, Mulund, Mumbai and other officials. They are employees of India Home Loan Limited. The incident took place between October 1, 2017 and August 31, 2019 at the Sadashiv Peth office of India Home Loan Limited.

The company is in the business of providing loans. Officials of the company hatched a conspiracy and prepared fake documents of a construction of a building Vast Heights at Baner when it was clear that no such building will be constructed. The fake documents were submitted to the finance company and company’s officials took Rs 2 lakh from the complainant for not checking the documents. The officials took a loan of Rs 37 lakh and 67 thousand from the company in the name of the complainant and cheated him of Rs 37 lakh and 67 thousand.

The officials wrote an amount on the cheque given by the complainant to take a loan. Since there were insufficient funds in the bank, the cheque was returned. After the cheque got bounced, a case was filed against the complainant and cheated him.
