Pune Crime Branch solves the murder mystery of Gulbarga man

Pune: NP NEWS 24 ONLINE – Officials from the Crime Branch unit 1 of Pune city police on Wednesday nabbed two men in Lohegaon who were hiding after killing an autorickshaw driver in Gulbarga (Karnataka) on October 19.

The arrested accused persons have been identified as Sachin Ravindra Milinkari (24) of Krishna Colony (Gulbarga), Revna Sidrappa Dangapur (25) of Santosh Colony (Gulbarga). Police said that the arrested accused and deceased Javed worked as autorickshaw drivers. After drinking liquor on the night of October 19, the duo along with their other accomplices murdered Javed after an argument. They had also disfigured his face with a stone and thrown his body on the Kalburgi-Bidar railway line.

Police said that during interrogation the accused said that their accomplices Gubbi, Chhotu, Prakash are hiding in Gulbarga.

Policeman Sachin Jadhav from Crime Branch unit 1 had received information that an unidentified man was killed in Gulbarga and that two accused are hiding in Lohegaon at their friend’s house. Accordingly, a team led by Senior Police Inspector Nitin Bhosale Patil, Police Sub Inspector Dinesh Patil nabbed the duo on Wednesday. The Karnataka police team is coming to Pune to take custody of the two arrested accused. The murder case is registered with Wadi railway police station.

The crime branch team which nabbed the two accused included policemen Rizwan Jinedi, Shrikant Waghawale, Irfan Momin, Prashant Gaikwad and Sudhakar Mane.
