Pune : Blood soaked cotton found in patient’s food at Jehangir Hospital

Pune : Np News Network – The shocking incident has been reported at Jehangir Hospital in Pune. Blood stained cotton balls were found in the soup given to a patient in the hospital. This soup was made in the canteen of the hospital.

Relatives of the patient have taken video of the incident and lodged complaint with Koregaon Park police station. However, no FIR was registered till late Sunday night.

Meanwhile, hospital officials said there is conspiracy to defame the hospital.

About 360 staffs of the hospital are currently on strike, demanding hike in salary as per the industry standards, free medicines for family members and increase in retirement age from 58 to 60 years.
