Pune: BJP’s Candidates Will Lose Where PM Modi Campaigns, Said Ravindra Dhangekar

Pune: As the elections are approaching, the political atmosphere in the state has started getting intense. Allegations and counter-allegations have soared, and all the veterans and top leaders of respective parties are taking rallies and roadshows for their candidates. In this heated atmosphere, political leaders are leaving no chance of targeting their opponents.

Pune is one of the few hotly contested seats in Maharashtra’s 48 Lok Sabha constituency. In Pune, Muralidhar Mohol has been nominated from Mahayuti, and Ravindra Dhangekar is the candidate from Mahavikas Aghadi. The four-time corporator of Pune’s Municipal Corporation, Vasant More, is standing on Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi’s ticket in Pune.

All three candidates are campaigning in full swing. Meetings of veterans and road shows are being held in the constituency to campaign for these three candidates. Amidst all this, there is information that Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi will come to Pune and campaign for Ravindra Dhangekar.

On this issue, the BJP has targeted Congress. The BJP said that the track record shows that wherever Rahul Gandhi campaigns, Congress loses on that list. To the BJP’s criticism, Congress’ Ravindra Dhangekar hit back, targeting PM Modi. Dhangekar said, “The political picture in Maharashtra is changing, and there is certainly the BJP’s loss where PM Modi will campaign.” Dhangekar made this statement while he was speaking on ABP Majha’s programme, Mahabharat Express.

Dhangekar said, “Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, and various veteran leaders are likely to come for my campaign. Therefore, there will be a repetition of the Kasba pattern in Pune. I was elected by the people of Pune during the by-election. I will be elected this time too. The people of Pune are with me.”

When asked what his strategy for the upcoming election was, Dhangekar replied that the election atmosphere is changing in the state and is going against Modi.” He added, “The trust of people has been eroding under PM Modi, and you will be able to see it in a few days.” He added that the Punekars have taken charge of Ravindra Dhangekar’s campaign, and now he will win the election with the people’s blessing and trust.

“I did not get a ticket because I won the Kasba Bypoll election,” Dhangekar added. He said that the party has given the ticket to a common activist like me rather than to any established big leader. Therefore, he promised people to bring about change if he get elected.
