Pune: Ajit Pawar Outburst Over Shivtare’s Call Details Question (Video)

Pune: Today, while interacting with media persons on the occasion of Mahatma Phule’s birth anniversary, the Deputy Chief Minister lost his cool. Ajit Pawar cautioned reporters against considering him a fool while replying to a question related to his statement on Vijay Shivtare.

Today, on the occasion of Mahatma Jyotirao Phule’s birth anniversary, Ajit Pawar visited the memorial site at Bhide Wada. At that time, he was interacting with reporters.

He said, “CM Eknath Shinde, Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis, Chhagan Bhujbal, we all have decided to build a memorial for Mahatma Phule and Savitri Phule.” He also said that though there is already a memorial, the space is running out for that. Therefore, he said that the work will be completed on it after purchasing nearby land for that memorial.

Savitribai Phule started the first girls’ school in Bhide Wada. That place too has now come under the control of the Municipal Corporation. Ajit Pawar said that five to six plans have also been prepared in this regard, and there would be no shortage of funds for both of these works.

Talking about the issue of the rebellion of Vijay Shivtare, which was one of the most discussed topics in Maharashtra last month, Ajit Pawar said, “Vijay Shivtare had earlier decided to contest the election. However, after discussing with CM Eknath Shinde, Deputy CM Devendra Fadanvis, and me, he withdrew his decision.”

“In that meeting, Shivtare put some issues from his constituency and demanded quick action on those issues. After getting promises in this regard, Shivtare decided not to contest the election and to support Sunetra Pawar,” Ajit Pawar added. Pawar further said that Shivtare is organising a rally on April 11, and CM Eknath Shinde and he will present at that rally.

At that time, one of the reporters asked him who the people were who called Shivtare and tried to convince him against withdrawing from the election. On this question, Ajit Pawar exploded in anger and said to reporters, “Do not consider me a fool. Whatever I had to say, I said it.”
