Pune : 5 workers killed in fire at Saree shop

Pune : Npnews24 – In an early morning fire, five workers of a saree centre died of burn injuries and suffocation in Uruli Devachi.

According to Pune fire brigade, the incident took place around 4.30 am at Rajyog Saree Centre, a wholesale shop. After getting information, the Fire Brigade officials rushed to the spot and began the rescue operation. Five fire tenders were pressed into service to douse the fire. Ten private water tankers were also called.

By 6.45 am, fire brigade brought out the five workers. However, five of them had died.
