Pregnant women died on way to hospital

NPnews24 online, Faridabad: Rinky was admitted on Wednesday to Urban Primary Health Center (UPHC) at Dabua, Faridabad by her family.

Her husband Anil has accused the UPHC for not giving Rinky the proper treatment. She was moved to BK hospital on Thursday morning, when referred. Anil and Rinky couldn’t get an ambulance to reach BK hospital, so her husband Anil arranged them an Auto rickshaw. Rinky died in the Auto ride they took to the hospital.

The district Ambulance incharge said that, there was no demand or call made for an ambulance for Rinky, in this case how were we suppose to arrange an ride for her.

Anil informed that Rinky was admitted to UPHC for her dued delivery on Wednesday. After been in UPHC for 12 hours Rinky was asked to move to BK hospital. On waiting and not getting an ambulance he took her to BK hospital in an auto rickshaw. Rinky died on way to hospital.
