Preetika Chauhan, actress of ‘Devon Ke Dev Mahadev’ serial, arrested while buying drugs

Mumbai : NCB has been successful in the Bollywood drugs related cases. Preetika Chauhan, actress known for her TV serial Devon Ke Dev Mahadev, has been arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau.

The NCB had laid a trap and on Sunday, while Preetika Chauhan was buying drugs, she was arrested red handed. The NCB has seized 99 grams of marijuana from them. The agency has arrested one more person along with the actress. Both the accused have been sent to jail till 8 November.

According to information received from a news agency, a team of Mumbai Zonal Unit has arrested two people from Machhimar in Versova. 99 grams of marijuana has been recovered from them. Those arrested include Faisal and Preetika Chauhan. Pritika is a TV actress. Both were produced in the court and have been sent to jail till 8 November by the court.

The NCB is investigating the drug connection related to Sushant Singh Rajput suicide case. According to the investigation, based on the evidence, the agency disclosed the drug racket. The agency has so far arrested more than 20 people associated with this racket. The NCB team was currently waiting for the actress by laying a trap in the Versova area of Mumbai. The agency arrested both when the peddler was giving drugs to the actress.
