Police sleep while 2 criminals cut iron grill, escape from lock up

Khed: NP NEWS 24 ONLINE – Two criminals who were lodged in police lockup escaped after cutting iron grills of the window, while policemen on guard were sleeping. The incident took place around 4 am on Monday.

Now cops have launched a search for the accused persons identified as Vishal Dattatray Tandale (22) of Manchar (Pune district) and Rahul Deoram Goyekar (26) of Goyekarwadi in Karjat taluka of Ahmednagar district.

Police suspect that they escaped with assistance from their accomplices.
